I am enjoying taking line dancing with Desert Dancers LLC who teach at both the Hilton El Conquistador on La Canada and Lutheran Church on First Ave. I read where dancing helps to fend off dementia more than other sports including doing crossword puzzles and playing bridge. It must be due to having to memorize the steps and then acting upon them.
